Installation Information
Accepted
installations may start setting up no earlier than 9 August
and must be completely finished by 11 August 2001. Please
refer to shipping
information and the following information for assistance
with your installation set-up. If you need additional assistance,
please contact Mk or Katie at etech-s2001@siggraph.org
at any time.

Provides:

and decorated environment
- Electricity
Note: Electrical power in a convention center
is always subject to fluctuations. We strongly recommend
you bring an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) or line
conditioner for any power-sensitive computer or A/V equipment
you plan to use on site at SIGGRAPH 2001. Also, the Los
Angeles Convention Center does not provide any type of electrical
transformer to accommodate for voltage differences that
may exist with different European equipment. If you are
bringing such equipment please be prepared to provide the
proper transformers required to run your equipment.
- Furnishings
(tables, chairs, scaffolding, etc.) - venue design and furnishing
styles are at the discretion of the program chair.

Responsibilities:

A/V and computers which can be rented from SIGGRAPH 2001
contractors)

- Sufficient
Staffing to cover the conference week
- Travel,
housing, and substinence for installation staff
- Any optional
services or conveniences such as a telephone line, computer
rental, A/V rental
